It's one of the questions I get asked most frequently: why are you
getting involved in politics?

Most people feel like they shouldn't touch politics with a 10-foot
pole, but I think it's a great way to fight for change, and be
effective about it. We need to see public perception and motivation
change, but we need to change the laws, too, and that takes
leadership.

That's why I'm running for city council. Vote for me on November
4, and we will work together for a sustainable future.

I've been lobbying the state, too. I'm working hard to make the case for green jobs, so we can bolster Arkansas and fight climate change at the same time. It would mean thousands of jobs for Arkansans.
